Affordable Health Coverage

Today in America, many more of its population is in need of affordable health care. Many companies are now increasing the charges, for providing this service to their workers or cutting back on the level of cover. In this instance I speak with experience because my health care service has reduced this year for the first time ever. This was a shock to everyone; being told that the health care provider was going to be replaced because the cost was too great.
To make the system fair to everyone, the health care provider would need to change. Many people I have spoken to are happy with the new insurance and that I am just as well provided for. I don not mind other workers benefiting but it costs me more now, almost twice as much more to have my family covered in the plan. Taking a good deal less home in my paycheck to have my family remain on the healthcare policy seems to be the only option I have because almost everyone else is happy with the new arrangement.
Ok, so my health care is still respectable but the new company that we have is not as good as our previous. Many workers saw their paychecks reduce when this new affordable health care scheme come into force. I am sure of this because just over 2 years ago when I had my little boy, the stay in hospital was completely covered by my insurance policy. I sat and worked out the cost of this new plan and if I were to stay in hospital now and have a baby it would cost around 4,000 dollars out of my own pocket.
There are also the co-pays to consider, another cost in addition to the hospital fees I would have to pay. Luckily there are more and more affordable health care programs being created to help those that do not have any coverage. Those less fortunate can now get free health care more readily and workers without health care are able to join special schemes. In principle, these plans are a good thing but there are always those that misuse it making the situation difficult for genuine cases.
For many people desperately trying to improve their situation these affordable health care plans are a life-line but to others they are just an easy option. We often forget who is ultimately paying for these schemes; us, the taxpayer. Ok, so some of the employees where I work have benefited but the real winner was my company. It worked out just fine for my employers when they switched providers but many of us are paying the price. In the long term we really need to do something in America to help those in need find affordable health care.
