Causes, Symptoms And Home Remedies for Hangover Cure
A serious issue with alleged hangover cures is that they often promote individuals to drink more than they should. The best hangover tip available, that’s free and is probably the best remedy for a hangover in the world but the hardest is to just resist that last drink. Large quantities of alcohol affect the body during and after the fact but most of the issue is as a result of the dehydration which the alcohol creates.
Mostly, it is the alcoholic drinks with more impurities in them that provide the worse the hangovers. How quickly you become drunk is also often down the level of these impurities and just how severe the hangover will be. Wherever possible, try to stick with the clear drinks, Vodka, Bacardi or Gin etc. However, the real reason we have hangovers and strive for complete hangover cures is because we simply drink too much. This is often the case when we drink a great deal in a short space of time or maybe we drink on an empty stomach, but at the end of the day, no one makes us do this. It is well known that if you drink at a measured pace, the body is able to process the alcohol and other toxins before they get to a level that gets us drunk.
Unfortunately, we seem to be destined to search for remedies for a hangover and this is always a good talking point at any bar in the world. But finding an effective remedy for a hangover is still being looked for, apart from not drinking, of course. Although drinking at a measured pace will undoubtedly help, finally the alcohol will win so if you can remember to re-hydrate your body before you go to bed you may well offset some of the bad consequences a hangover brings.
One popular method is taking a couple of headache tablets and downing a pint of cold mineral water before bed and then some orange juice in the morning as it replaces lost vitamin C. Despite this knowledge hangover remedies are less efficient as you get older and as a bonus, the hangovers also get worse. A recent addition to the hangover curatives list is bananas which evidently contain large volumes of fructose and potassium which are 2 minerals lost when drinking.

Bananas also have 2 other constituents that help with hangovers as there is an antacid to help with the nausea and magnesium to help with the bad head ache. There are still those seasoned souls that believe that drinking more alcohol the next day in the form of a ‘Bloody Mary’ is a cure for a hangover but the panel is still out on this one. Ultimately, your best defense is recognizing when to stop and, when to refuse that ‘one for the road’ proposition!
