Is Dentist a Doctor???

Recently there was a very rib tickling article about the incident that happened with a local dentist. Children are often afraid of doctors but are much more afraid of dentists. According to the children dentist is not a doctor. And the article was on the author son’s visit to the dentist where he called the dentist an alien monster who would inject Dracula teeth in him.

Health is the major driving factor because of which we all go to the doctors irrespective of the fact that the doctors rob our pockets totally and leave us with nothing. Children are in a habit of gobbling lots of sweets and many of us have a sweet tooth. Dentists are a part and parcel of our health gums whether we like it or not. The job of a dentist is not at all any easy.

It’s a hard nut to grind. Like any other field of medical science dentists have also to study very hard. There are a number of dental colleges in our country and now in almost every state you can find a dental college. Without health teeth we cannot enjoy the delicious food and most importantly chewing gum which according to me is weakness of almost all the Americans. You all will agree with me on this. Since from school we all love chewing gum and hate visits to the dentist. But dentists are our friends and not enemies and I would like to thank my dentist because of whom I have healthy gums.
