Woman Relief

Many women get to a point in their lives when they just think that their own bodies are rebelling against them. Throughout their lives, many women are lucky enough not to suffer from period pains but menstrual cramps can be something they start to experience when they reach the menopause. For women who unfortunately have endometriosis (around 10 percent of women do) or even PCOS then the situation just gets worse. If you were to ask a woman who suffers from this complaint they would tell you just how much they dread that time each month.

This is when you need some menstrual cramp relief you can count on time and time again. The most obvious answer is to take one in pill form which also seems to be the most common method. Pamprin is probably the best known of these, probably because it is marketed purely towards sufferers of this condition. Now, it is true to say that some women do not like taking any type of oral medication but perhaps it’s now time to think about that stance.

After all, if your stomach cramps are getting you down every month then what do you have to lose? To make matters worse, the cramps are only part of the problem if you are one of those individuals who also has to put up with nausea and a constant bloated feeling. On a personal level, I was just tired of the cramping pains and decided to source an effective menstrual cramp relief solution. Sometimes it is ok, but at other times I truly feel like someone has squeezed my midsection with a large vice, and I just can’t get free.

A more natural method is to use a heat pad and position it on the tummy or back (it does vary), which can bring some relief. You may not have tried this for your problem before but it is well worth giving it a go particularly if you haven’t had any success with pills. Whilst these ideas may be ok for some women, others that have regular painful menstrual cramps each month may need to do something more permanent. If this is a problem that affects your work attendance then you may need to do something about it before it damages your chance of promotion.

You can’t just let it go on every month so it may be wise to speak to your doctor and see what ideas he may have on helping menstrual cramp. A doctor will know of other options available to you including the birth control pill, if you are not already on it, which can help relieve the pains. Your doctor will probably have a number of available options to talk to you about because if you are trying for a baby you can’t use the pill now can you? Good luck with your search for a way to ease those regular painful cramps.
